Sit & Sleep really helped us out in a tricky situation when we needed a futon at short notice. Customer service was some of the best we've had. Not only that, we love our futon - it was easy to put together, and it's very comfortable to sit on and to sleep on. We'd recommend this company to absolutely anyone.

Very quick delivery and good communication. The compact futon was as advertised, looks well made and sturdy and was very easy to put together.

Item matches the description and, so far, seems to be of good quality. Delivery was a bit of a let down. Order placed on the 14 June. Item collected by courier 2 July but could not be delivered until 8 July.

In regard to the delivery time - due to the current Covid-19 issues - our delivery companies were quite stretched during June and early July and therefore some customer deliveries took just a few days longer than normal.
In addition we have a reduced manufacturing capacity in our workshop as we have to deploy social distancing procedures to keep our staff safe. As a result the workshop lead time on orders in June was a little longer than usual.

Great sofabed. Service was excellent and communication great. The sofabed arrived less than 48 hours after I placed the order, and assembly took less than an hour. I got a nice mattress topper and fitted sheet, and found it very comfortable as a bed (actually, more comfortable than my regular bed !). Also looks great as a sofa. I thoroughly recommend this sofabed and SitandSleep !

Very happy with my Sofa bed from Sit and Sleep, communication was very good, although I did find the time slot on the delivery date a little confusing.

Excellent service all round and my new Cubed 140 is stunning. I ordered my sofa bed at the height of the lockdown. Despite this the staff were really helpful and friendly. The fabric sample arrived really quickly and once I ordered the sofa bed over the phone with a very helpful member of the team I was kept well informed. The delivery process was really smooth and it arrived exactly when promised. I don’t often leave reviews but I was very impressed and would highly recommend this company.

In remote areas like ours you shouldn't promise a specific delivery date.Perhaps more co-ordination with the courier needed.
Package arrived without damage and well wrapped.
Very personal service -excellent.

Hello Lynn. Thanks very much for your lovely reviews. It's really difficult to NOT give customers a specific delivery day - most customers will insist on it - even in remote areas such as yours as people are often out at work (although less so at the moment due to Covid-19) and so they need to be given a delivery day when they know they will be at home. The problem with your delivery wasn't that you are in a remote area, it was that DX unfortunately routed the packages to the wrong delivery depot (quite some way from your area) so they had to re-route them to the correct depot the following night for delivery to you. It is very rare that this happens but we hope that our attention in chasing the matter kept you informed and we thank you for your understanding and pleasant manner in communicating with us.

Great product, good value for money. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately had to pay extra for delivery specifically for it to be left in the downstairs of the block of flats which wasn’t the case, had to collect the item from a nearby car park as the driver couldn’t locate the exact address. Other than that great overall service.

Hello Ciara - thank you for your nice review. Just to clarify that the additional charge was for a specific time period delivery (rather than at the time that your address would be within the efficient routing of their other deliveries) as you advised the delivery company that you needed delivery after 5pm and they would not normally be in your area at that time. They were happy to accommodate your request but they do charge us extra for that service. We did send you an e-mail and had a telephone conversation with you regarding this. Thanks again.

Sofa was easy to assemble and looks as good as on the pictures. However, fabric has a distinctive smell... it's difficult to pinpoint what is it, smells like a mixture of dump fabric and something synthetic.
We are hoping that it will evaporate soon because at the moment it's quite overpowering.

Hello Alexandra. Thank you for your review. The fabric upholstered section of your Zeal Daybed will have been wrapped in plastic and cardboard for several weeks for transport from the Innovation factory and so it is not uncommon for there to be a degree of new furniture smell when it is unwrapped. We would fully expect any odour that is apparent after unwrapping the product to diminish in time and would suggest keeping the room in which it is located well ventilated during this period. Shipping took longer then expected but i understand init was cos of Covid.
Unfortunately the delivery was more than unpleasant.
Unfriendly and hardly said anything and were just giving me an attitude about the non working lift event i mentioned it before.
So that was a bit frustrating when you purchase something quiet expensive.
Overall very pleased with my sofa! Great quality but delivery i would reconsider.

Yes, you are quite right, the very slightly longer lead time to receiving your order was due to the Covid-19 health situation and is something that understandably was beyond our control. We love our new sofa bed. The company were easy to deal with both by phone & email. We had good communication throughout the whole process from order to delivery. Delivery driver was excellent, polite, friendly & helpful.
The sofa bed is reasonably easy to assemble with clear instructions provided (easy for 2 practical people putting it together, it might be trickier for one person with no practical skills to do on their own). Overall great value & service.

During the current times (COVID) with all the restrictions and complications, i needed a new mattress for my sofabed,i wasnt even entirely sure what i needed or how long it would take, these guys were fantastic! i emailed on the friday, and through the weekend, Robert helped me with what i needed with all the options, even contacted me on Sunday to finalise the payment. Mine was in stock so i had it delivered by the Wednesday. Highly recommend if you want a great service and good quality.

Very good quality, excellent help from the company and good delivery all the way here in Scotland!
I would recommend futons to people who suffer from bad back or want to sleep on natural fibers like the one I purchased, wool and wool felt...I am planning to purchase more when I will set up a home.
