For Fair Isle knitters:Ordering would be easier if you had a colour wheel showing all yarns, grouped by tone/hue (similar to Pantone chart used for editing documents) and with a coding to show availability of ply. Ditto the order you show them on the page. A parallel way to compare colours for contrast/compatibility would also be great. See https://clan.com/tartandesigner for idea.

This is an excellent company to deal with.the quality of the wool and instructions is fabulous. I have only recently started knitting with 5 double pointed needles and their instructions are fabulous. Definitely will buy from them again.

Considering we only get mail every two days if we are lucky this order came very quickly. I haven't had a reason to contact so cannot comment on customer service. I have never used Shetland wool before but have found it easy to work with but will have to follow the instructions to stop any itching or maybe line it.

I remember Jamieson & Smith fondly from my trip to Lerwick for Shetland Wool Week 2016. In my humble opinion, they are the best yarn manufacturer in the entire world! I *LOVE*J&S!

I was excited when J&S offered the collection of Wirsit Inspo's and am not disappointed by the book I received. It's beautifully done, offering loads of ideas for color combinations for color knitting.

The package arrived in may mailbox in the US just a little over a week from when I ordered it, so I'd rate the shipping as excellent.

Didn't need customer service this time, but it has always been exceptional in the past.

I was curious about the history of this wool company so ordered their book and shade cards. I will be visiting Lerwick next year in July and wanted to figure out colours I would like to use in a future project. My package arrived quickly and without incident. Can’t wait until my in person visit.
