This is a really nice type of incense. It has a lot more natural odour, compared to a lot of the Indian incense types, which I think are too perfumy.

Thank you for your feedback. All I can do is assure you that the recipe/formulation for Nippon Kodo's Mainichikoh Sandalwood has not changed recently, or indeed, for many decades. The recent changes have been a redesign for the box and a stick count increase from 260 to 360 (hence the price increase last year). This is also a very popular item with our customers, so stock turns are frequent, so you'll be guaranteed fresh product from Vectis Karma. Everything arrived very quickly and beautifully packed. The Byakudan Kobunboku was nice but I do not think I will but that one again, however, this journey of discovering Japanese incense is very exiting, so some will please more than others. It is all a personal thing.

The holes in the incense burner are far too big and it will not hold a normal incense stick. This means the ash drops everywhere, but not in the saucer. This defeats the whole purpose of the product.

Goods arrived quickly and well packaged. A small mistake was made with 2 out of 3 packs ordered being delivered, hence the missing star. This was dealt with fairly and promptly, really pleased with the customer service.

Also, Why have a customer service rating for indirect purchases. Don't offer the review opportunity for your customer services to customers who don't use the service, it produces unrepresentative statistics and opens you up to dumb complaints... Like this one.

I was very pleased with my first purchase earlier in the year and subsequently placed this current order with you. With such a large selection of products that you have it is very difficult to decide what to go for without having experienced the aromas from the incense sticks previously. And as I see some of them can be very expensive. As an average working guy I ask myself is it worth the big spend not knowing if I would appreciate the end result.
I will be back for future purchases.
